Out-of-office adventures are necessary for rebooting and reconnecting with the fun and crazy self we often ignore in the everyday hustle.
Exploring new places with your favorite people is always gratifying. This time, while bidding farewell to 2K23, we Metizians explored Udaipur to the fullest. While we knew it would become another of our fun-loving and memory-making trips, it gradually became more than that.
I would rate this the most exquisite trip in Metizsoft’s #AnnualTrip history.
Our heads are still reeling with the trip vibes. We had a blast. It was a trip well planned by Metizsoft for Metizians to live, enjoy, and make memories beyond systems, login/outs, and meetings.

The fun begins on 5th Jan at Midnight!
Although it was the 2023 annual trip, we extended it to Jan 2024 according to our workload and time management.
We began our journey from CTM at Midnight (Our first pickup location), where a few colleagues boarded the BUS. Then they headed towards Gravity Nikol to join the other few. The half-full bus then ran towards Thakkarnagar and Ganesh Plaza to add more Metizians. Finally, at 1:30 PM, it enriched Iskon to add a final few members to start the journey towards Park Exotica Resort Udaipur.
Hold on a moment! Before fetching about the resort and its hospitality, let me explain the crazy vibes of our journey.
It wasn’t an ordinary bus journey. It was more than that. How can I describe the lively atmosphere inside the bus?
It was as if the bus had transformed into a stage for a drama. Throughout the journey, we never stopped singing and dancing. We had some peculiar and wild dance moves followed by Antakshari, which completely transformed the mood of every one of us.
Park Exotica Resort, Udaipur!
The clock struck 7:15 AM on December 6th as we stopped at Park Exotica, a nature resort nestled at the foothills of the Aravali range.
Upon arrival, the resort owner and staff warmly welcomed us. After a refreshing welcome drink, they handed us the room keys and invited us to breakfast.
We were in awe of the lush green surroundings and the natural atmosphere of the resort. The stiffness from our long, cold night journey vanished with the resort’s mesmerizing scenery and grand facilities. There is no need to describe their hospitality as it is well-known to be one of the best compared to many.
Upon arriving at our rooms, we quickly made our way to the breakfast area, where an array of delectable breakfast options awaited us. All looks fresh and tempting. So, we go bunkers to that delicious breakfast without wasting a minute.
Annual Excursion Day 1!
After breakfast, we took a detour of the resort to enjoy the surroundings. Boys moved ahead to play Cricket and Table Tennis, while girls got busy with photography. Two hours felt like 20 minutes as we were asked to join everyone for team lunch.
Once again, we were surrounded by delicious food and refreshing drinks that no one wanted to miss. For food enthusiasts, it was like a paradise on earth.
Adding fun to this, we organized a Gulab Jamun competition, which made us all laugh at the Core. More than eating, the expression of participation makes us laugh hard and cherish the moment to the last.
Pool Session
Soon after finishing our lunch, we took a little time to relax and engage in talks, comics, and discussions. Later, some of us decide to enjoy the poolside. The water seemed fresh, transparent, and warm, forcing us to extend our relaxation mode.
Game mode is on!
Soon after finishing our lunch, the anchor called everyone to the playing area to participate, showcase, and enjoy our gaming skills. It was on the cards, and everyone seemed excited to hear about the games.
The games we played from 2:00 to 5:00 PM
- Tug of War
- Play Yes/No Game
- Dog and Bone game
- Straw Pickup Game
- Dance and Garba
All these games have two special rules
1 – Presence of Every employee is Compulsory (you can’t skip it)

Hi-tea Time
Once we were done with games, our subconscious mind forced us to have tea, so we moved to the dining area to have our tea. After having tea, we decided to do a site visit. So we headed to the nearby places to explore Udaipur at its best in the evening.
A trip without a photo session is not a trip
Finally, the much-awaited time of the day came when we asked to get ready for the photo sessions. I have never seen people happy about anything before like this. It is like everyone is awaiting the moment; after much struggle and drama, it has arrived.
So, here are a few glimpses of the most crucial moment of the day:
Dinner is Ready
Even two hours feel short when it comes to clicking pictures. We were told that dinner would be available from 7:30 to 10:30 PM. So, we had dinner between those 3 hours and relaxing in the lawn area.
First, the trip and then games, dance, site tour, and photo sessions, our body didn’t permit us to do more than this at that moment. So, after a few chit-chats, we moved to our allocated rooms. By the end of our first day, we learned a great deal:

Day 2
Sunday was never this amazing
We were told to wake up early for more site visits as we had limited time. Hence, we woke up early and joined the team in the banquet hall for breakfast. It was a perfect morning. The sun’s rays felt like a blessing from the sun god. It was not too cold, not so hot – it was warm, beautiful, and surreal.
First, we hurried towards the famous and divine Karnimata Temple to take the blessing of maa Karni and experience the divinity.
Then, we moved to another city palace and explored every corner. We saw, met and greeted new people and indeed did some shopping.
After a refreshing detour of the city, we returned to the resort and completed the checkout process. Soon, they informed us that the lunch was ready to be served. We followed the instructions and had dinner before starting our journey toward Ahmedabad.
Traveled back with Lots of Memories!
The same road that put a smile and excitement in our hearts by bringing us to this mesmerizing place now gives us many reasons not to travel back and stay a bit longer. But we can’t!
It also taught us that:
“The tans will wane, but the memories will last forever.”
This trip to Udaipur made all of us Metizians an inch closer. We had our best of times. A few new team members also experienced the rich Metizosft Solutions culture and felt proud to be marked as Metizians.
Throughout our journey back to Ahmedabad, we only enjoyed the view once crossing the border. It was soothing and beautiful to the eyes and mind.
We took a 30-minute tea break at 5:30 PM and continued our journey non-stop to Ahmedabad. We arrived at 9:00 PM and were dropped off at our respective locations. This is how we wrapped up yet another year’s #AnnualMeetUp, just like we always do, with countless happy moments and memories.
